Partnering with orphanages and ministries to bring hope and a future to rescued children

Three Strands Orphan Rescue, Inc. works directly with orphanages and ministries that are recognized and licensed by their country’s government. We provide funds for shelter, utilities, food, medical care, clothing, and education.

We also support those directly caring for the children in each orphanage or ministry, including administration, housing, and transportation costs.

Today, Three Strands Orphan Rescue supports three local, government-licensed ministries in Uganda, caring for more than 80 orphaned children.

Mafubira Child Care Ministry

Mafubira Child Care Ministry (MCCM), formerly known as Child Care Ministry (CCM), is located in the city of Jinja, Uganda. Established in 2010 by Kintu Godfrey, and supported by lead caretakers Phiona and Ruth, this ministry has been the home for up to 28 children over the years. With amazing financial support and continuous faith in provision, MCCM has been able to extend help beyond the walls of their home, to neighboring children and friends of the ministry.

New Life Ministries Luuka

In 2017, Guloba Noah Wanyama (Noah) engaged in an outreach program with Shepherd’s House Church, which aimed to support orphans and marginalized elderly women with clothing and food. As the dire situation of orphans caring for themselves became more and more evident, Noah and his childhood friend, Brian, were compelled to establish a collective home for children, New Life Ministries Luuka (NLM). Today, with lead caretaker, Beatrice, this ministry supports more than 30 orphaned children.

Hope Child Care Ministry

Hope Child Care Ministry (HCCM) was established by Pastor Emmanuel (Emma) Mulawa and his wife Winnie in May of 2022. Having lost his father at the very young age of 7, and experienced scavenging for food to survive, Pastor Emma has a deep understanding of the struggle orphans experience. Located in the Luuka district, in a small home owned by a local community member, HCCM cares for 24 orphaned children.

Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you.
